Story telling avec Emma C

Un petit peu d’imagination en ce week end de pluie de merde – imaginez le titre d’une histoire que pourrait illustrer cette image…

Et voilà la petite histoire de la photo racontée par son auteur Emma C :

« I took the shot as part of a series of shots I did with my friend.

We were at a party store looking for fun and we found this irresistible, huge red balloon. It seemed really whimsical and something about that spoke to us and it reminded me personally of the French film « The Red Balloon », which was one of the first films I ever loved.

I guess I had that on my mind during the entire shoot because the whole time I was trying to create something mysterious yet also playful.

Out of all the shots I took I think this one stands out the most in regard to that the silhouette is obviously holding an oversized, silly balloon adds some sort of whimsy.

The series is pretty important to me- it’s the first time in photography when I connected my emotions with the pictures I was taking, which I have now learned is a really important thing to do. »

Cette photo fait partie d’une série que j’ai shootée avec une amie. Nous étions dans une boutique de décoration pour la fête pour nous amuser et nous avons trouvé cet énorme ballon auquel nous n’avons pu résister ! Il était complètement saugrenu et ça nous a tout de suite parlé. Il m’a personnellement fait penser au film français « le ballon rouge », un des premier film que j’ai aimé.

Je pense que j’y ai pensé pendant toute la séance car j’ai essayé de créer une ambiance mystérieuse et un peu taquine.

De tous les clichés, celui ci se dégage vraiment avec cette silhouette qui tient un ballon bien trop gros pour elle, cela ajoute de la fantaisie.

Cette série de photo a son importance pour moi, c’est la première fois que j’ai lié mes émotions aux photos que j’étais en train de prendre. Et j’ai bien compris maintenant que c’était vraiment important.
